I cut the fish into smaller pieces, sprinkled it with salt and pepper and put it in the fridge for half an hour.
In the meantime I prepared the vegetables. I chopped the onion finely, I crushed the garlic, and I cut the tomatoes into cubes.
I passed the fish pieces through the flour, then I fried them in oil. I took them out on a kitchen napkin until I prepared the sauce.
I put the onion in a little oil. When it softened, I added the garlic, tomatoes, spices and a little water. I let it boil well, about 20 minutes, then I added the fried fish and dried larch.
I served it with polenta.
