Green walnut jam

it's the first time I try and I have some green walnut gloves but it was worth what good taste it has: D

  • 400 g green walnuts
  • 1 kg of sugar
  • 2 lemons
  • 500 ml of water

Preparation time: less than 120 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Green walnut jam:

We wash the walnuts and clean them of all the green peel. After we have finished cleaning the walnuts, we add cold water over them. We wash them well and drain the water. We add water again and leave them until the 2nd day (we wash them in several waters until the nuts remain clean).

Form a syrup from the water, sugar and lemon juice, then add the walnuts and let it continue to boil. To check if it is ready, put a syrup with a teaspoon in a plate and if it doesn't spread, it's ready.

Let it cool a bit and add it in jars that we close well and put in the winter: D
