    In a highball glass or a copper Moscow mule cup, mix apple cider, maple syrup and vinegar.

Expert Tips

  • A rose garnish made from an apple peel makes this drink feel extra fancy. To make an apple peel rose, use a vegetable peeler and peel an apple from the top to the bottom, keeping the peel in one continuous piece. Roll the peel up, and secure with a toothpick. Place on top of the cocktail in the glass. If that feels too swanky, an apple wedge on the rim of the glass works just as well.
  • Ginger beers differ in intensity from brand to brand, so make sure you taste your ginger beer before adding it to this drink.

Not only are mocktails family friendly, but they are so easy to mix together. To get ready for fall I’m putting together two new fall mocktails, and everything I need to make them can be stored in my new beverage refrigerator.


Top 10 Refreshing Mocktail Recipes to Try this Christmas

1. Non-Alcoholic Eggnog

For this recipe, you need 6 eggs, 1 (14 oz.) can sweeten condensed milk, 1 t. vanilla extract, 1-quart milk, 1/3 pint heavy whipping cream, 1 pinch ground nutmeg, and 1 pinch salt. Serve the eggnog chilled and add inside the glass a candy cane to make it look more Christmas-y!

2. Cranberry Limeade Sparkling Mocktail

Can it get any more Christmas-y than this? This mocktail is ideal for everyone who loves cranberries because the taste is all about it! To prepare it, you need 5 ounces (half a container) frozen limeade concentrate, 64 ounces cranberry juice, a 2-liter bottle of lemon-lime soda, fresh cranberries, and lime slices for decoration of the drink.

3. Mango Bellini

If you&rsquore a fan of Bellini and you&rsquore wondering whether or not this drink will turn out well without the champagne, don&rsquot worry &ndash the sparkling apple cider is a great substitute! It will take you just two minutes to prepare it, and it&rsquos super budget-friendly, as all you need are only two ingredients &ndash 1 rounded tablespoon mango sorbet and 6 ounces sparkling apple cider.

4. Apple Pie Punch

Who said that apples are meant only for fall? They make a great ingredient in a punch, and that&rsquos exactly what we&rsquore recommending for your Christmas party. It&rsquos very easy to prepare this non &ndash alcoholic punch, as all you need, are the following ingredients &ndash 4 c ups a pple cider, 1 c up p ear nectar c an, 3 c ups g inger ale, and 1 a pple.

5. Chocolate Martini Mocktail

Chocolate martini? Yes, please! Perfect for dessert or just a drink during the day, this chocolate martini is going to satisfy the cravings of your sweet tooth. You need 1 cup cold milk, 1/4 cup best-quality chocolate syrup (plus more for dipping rims), 1 tbs corn syrup, and c rushed ice if you prefer. Make sure to dip the rims in chocolate sprinkles!

6. Moscow Mule Mocktail

Moscow Mule is one of the most popular cocktails and can be easily switched to non &ndash alcoholic. To prepare it at home, you need 1/2 cup ginger beer (although it is a beer, it is categorized as non &ndash alcoholic because it contains less than 0.5 percent of alcohol), 3 tbsp fresh lime juice, and 3 tbsp club soda.

7. Watermelon Bellini

We&rsquore back at the Bellini, except that this time instead of mango, we use watermelon. This one is also budget-friendly because you just need two ingredients to prepare it &ndash 1 cup watermelon and sparkling cider (for the alcoholic version, use champagne instead). The Bellini is ready in a few minutes!

8. Cherry Good Mulled Mocktail

This here is a great alternative for mulled wine lovers. However, instead of using mulled wine, you can use cherry juice instead. It&rsquos very easy to prepare it, and it&rsquos even easier to drink a few glasses! You need these ingredients &ndash 1-liter cherry juice, 1 sliced and zested orange, 7 whole cloves, 1tsp vanilla extract, 2 cinnamon sticks, and 1-star anise.

9. Pomegranate Cranberry Punch With Rosemary

Refreshing and Christmas-y at the same time, the pomegranate cranberry punch with rosemary not only tastes amazing, but it looks just as good as well! To prepare it, you just need four ingredients &ndash 4 cups pomegranate juice, 2 cups cranberry juice, 1 bunch of rosemary, and 8-10 drops Stevia to sweeten it.

10. Sparkling Mint Cranberry Mocktail

These look wonderful, right? Just by looking at the picture, we wished to prepare this mocktail right away! You can easily make it at home by using 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup chopped cranberries, 3-4 chopped fresh mint leaves, 2 tablespoons cream of coconut, 3 (12 ounces) cans of berry-flavored sparkling water, and mint leaves for garnish.


Sparkling Spiced Apple Cider Mocktail

I have the perfect last-minute cocktail to serve for Thanksgiving. Well, it’s a mocktail. But it can easily be made boozy, if you want!

Given that I’m pregnant, I am always on the hunt for a good mocktail. Luckily, they are a trend at restaurants and bars now (which was not so true my last pregnancy). I think it’s great. It’s awesome that places are being more sensitive to people who cannot or do not want to drink alcohol. Not everyone wants Coke, ya know?

I love it when I have that option when out to dinner, because one of my most favorite things ever is getting a fun cocktail to kick off a night of eating! A mocktail helps lessen the blow of not being able to do that at the moment.

Speaking of a night of eating, this mocktail/cocktail is ideal for serving to a crowd on Thanksgiving (or any other time, really). It’s full of fall flavors and tastes like a cozy dream. Plus, it makes a large batch, which can easily be adjusted based on your needs.

It starts with a spiced simple syrup. I take cinnamon, ginger, star anise, and honey and infuse them into a simple syrup that really takes this drink to the next level. It adds so much warmth and flavor! I definitely think it’s the game changer here. It makes this so much more than a glass of sparkling apple cider.

I like to serve this up in a punch bowl because that just screams FESTIVE to me. People just get excited about a punch bowl. Don’t have one? No sweat. Just mix this in a pitcher and serve!

Into the bowl goes the simple syrup, apple cider (get the good stuff), ginger beer, seltzer (orange is awesome!), and fresh fruit! I like a mix of apples, pomegranate arils, and frozen cranberries. Sliced pears or oranges would also be great here. The frozen cranberries keep things nice and cold, too. Throw in a couple cinnamon sticks and star anise and you’re good to go.

I like to make this ahead, chill it down in the fridge (right in the punch bowl), and then set it out with glasses. People can serve themselves and add ice if they like! If I really have my act together, I freeze some of the apple cider in an ice cube tray and add that to punch bowl just before serving.

Serving drinks like this in a large batch format is so great for parties or holiday gatherings. You mix it once and then set it and forget it! People serve themselves and you can go about your hosting business without having to mix individual cocktails all day long.

This drink is everything I love about this season. It’s sweet, spiced, effervescent, and totally festive. Plus, I find that MOST people love these flavors, so you’re guaranteed to have this entire bowl disappear.


Apple Cider Moscow Mule

A signature cocktail is a festive way to kick off a party and is a great opportunity to tie in the party theme. For my Fall Harvest Dinner Party, I decided to serve an Apple Cider Mule, which is a refreshing, seasonal fall cocktail that can be served in cute copper mugs. I made a large batch ahead of time that I placed in a pitcher so I could easily serve and re-fill throughout the party. See below for my Apple Cider Mule recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 2 oz ginger beer
  • 3 oz apple cider
  • Cinnamon stick and apple slice for garnish

Instructions

Pour vodka, ginger beer and apple cider in a copper mug and stir. Add ice and garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice, from about 9 lemons
1 3/4 cups sugar
8 cups coconut water
4 cups water
1/2 recipe Lavender Simple Syrup (see here for the recipe)

Place lemon juice, sugar, coconut water, and water into a pitcher and shake or stir vigorously until all the sugar is dissolved. Pour 1/2 of the lavender syrup into the pitcher and stir.
