Butter at room temperature, mix vigorously with the sugar, vanilla sugar, until melted. Then add the eggs, one by one, Teo's advice: "putting a spoonful of flour each time, so that the mixture does not cut!", Mixing vigorously until the ingredients are incorporated. Then add the milk and sifted flour together with the baking powder, salt and cocoa powder, mixing gently until a homogeneous dough is obtained.

The resulting composition is poured into a cake tin lined with butter and flour, approx. 20 cm, or in my case, in a form of wax paper cake;) My new discovery, from Auchan;) and put in the oven in the preheated oven, approx. 30 minutes, at 180 degrees C. After passing the toothpick test, remove the cake from the oven and leave to cool.

Meanwhile, prepare the cream and syrup.

The gelatin is soaked in cold water, approx. 10 minutes, then heat over low heat until it reaches boiling point.

Powdered sugar is mixed with cottage cheese, vanilla essence, until a frothy cream is obtained. Then add the whipped cream and cooled gelatin, stirring quickly until all the ingredients are incorporated.

Grated chocolate is added at the end and mix gently to incorporate. Leave the cream to cool for approx. 10 minutes for rest.

For the syrup, caramelize the sugar, then add water and bring to the boil, flavor with vanilla essence and leave to cool.

Cut the lid off the cooled worktop, then carefully dig out the core so that it remains approx. 2 cm on the bottom and edges.

The core and the lid are crushed to obtain the appearance of earth for the moss.

Syrup the base of the countertop and the edges, then place the bananas, peeled, whole or cut in half, cover with cream, in the shape of a dome, then sprinkle “the soil resulting from the core and lid”, giving it the shape of moss.

Although the recipe seems complicated, I assure you that after you have prepared it for the first time, it will become a star in your family;)
