Asparagus is the symbol of spring at farmers' markets across the country, and everyone's first instinct is usually just to stick to the simple stuff to see what the year's crop tastes like on its own — perhaps tossing it in a bit of olive oil and grilling it, or steaming it and drizzling some melted butter on top. But what about when it's time to get more creative? Well, here are a few ideas.
